Policies > Notes about Returns
Statistics state only 60-70% of returns qualify for credits with
a standard 20% restocking fee. Here are some reasons why: 1) The RMA#
must be marked clearly on the shipping package. Many returns are
refused on a daily basis because the RMA# is not in plain site. We
assume no responsibility or liability for packages that are not
properly marked. 2) Items sent back are not authorized for return.
3) Packaging is not in perfect, resalable condition. Customer will
be billed cost and freight of replacement packaging. 4) Parts are
missing from return. Customer is billed for cost plus freight for
all missing parts. 5) Items are damaged during return shipping.
Please make sure to package returned items in packaging consistent
with the specifications of your chosen return carrier. All items
must be insured. Web Aquatics, Inc. assumes no responsibility or
liability for items damaged during return shipping.
Any deviation form the returns process outlined above will result in
a delay of your refund, an additional restocking fee, and possibly a
refusal of your return. Shipping and handling charges are not
refundable. On items where shipping and handling is not billed or is
free, shipping and handling charges will be approximated to 10% of
the regular retail price of merchandise.
The customer is responsible for shipping charges and insurance on
all return shipments. Under all circumstances, nobody is ever
authorized to use Web Aquatics, Inc. shipping account numbers. This
is a fraudulent activity and will be pursued without exception. This
applies to not only packages shipped for personal purposes but also
packages that are shipped to Web Aquatics, Inc. If packages need to
be returned to us, please contact us for an RMA number and return
shipping procedures.
